British Columbia PNP Draw Results from February 28 2023

BC PNP Draw Results from February 28 2023

Good day ladies and gentlemen, this is IRC news, and I am Joy Stephen, an authorized Canadian Immigration practitioner coming out with this Canadian British Columbia News. Today is the 03/03/2023 and I am coming to you from the Polinsys studios in Cambridge, Ontario.

British Columbia’s PNP held two recent draws, issuing invitations to a total of 169 candidates for immigration. One was a tech-specific draw that invited 145 candidates to receive a provincial nomination. The other was for early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202) specifically, along with a targeted draw for healthcare workers, inviting a total of 24 candidates. The candidates were from the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC streams, specifically the Skilled Worker, International Graduate subcategory.

The minimum scores for the Skilled Worker, International Graduate subcategory were 83 for the targeted tech draw, and 60 for both the NOC 42202 and targeted healthcare draws. Scoring is based on a points system that evaluates factors such as work experience, education, and language proficiency. The Skills Immigration category requires candidates to have a job offer with an eligible BC employer, while the International Graduate subcategory requires candidates to have completed their education at a designated Canadian college or university within the last three years. The Express Entry BC category is open to candidates with a profile in the federal Express Entry system who express interest in immigrating to British Columbia specifically or are willing to settling in any province.

In addition, the BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration program held a separate draw. The program has two categories: the Regional Pilot program and the Base Program. Five candidates were selected for the Regional Pilot draw, each with a minimum score of 112, while seven candidates with a minimum score of 116 were invited to the Base Program draw.
