Today is the 12th of Feb, 2022. 2021 saw the highest new Canadian Permanent Residence landing in recent memory. Ontario is historically a high landing province and 2021 saw 45% of the total landings in Ontario The second highest province was British Columbia with a distant 17% . Quebec came in 3rd with around 12%. The Atlantic provinces saw it overall landings decline. You now know which province attracts the highest number of new Immigrants in Canada. Landings reflects numbers where a new immigrant may enter Canada at a port of entry, however, the figures may be different as to which province new immigrants may ultimately settle even though the trend shows that most new Immigrants settle in the province they enter.
