Canada Immigration Major Economic Class Express entry PNP Data for 2018, 2019, 2020 Good day ladies and gentlemen, this is IRC news and I am Joy Stephen, an authorized Canadian Immigration practitioner bringing out this Data Analysis release from the Polinsys studios in Cambridge, Ontario. Today is the 12th of Mar, 2022. Today we are going to do some data analysis on the total applications for PNP selections through the Express Entry platform between 2018 and 2020. This data could give us some idea on the growth trajectory of Provinces selecting through the Express Entry program. On my screen is the chart highlighting the data for 2018, 2019 and 2020 In 2018, there were 19556 total applications picked from the federal Express Entry pool by provinces. The number in 2019 to 19242 and in 2020 during the global pandemic we have seen the provinces pick more. The 2020 figure was 21604. Provinces are active picking candidates for their demands through the Express Entry pool because they get immigration ready or Permanent Residence ready candidates who can move to Canada as permanent residence much sooner than those who are not ready yet.
