Canadian Federal Express Entry pick with a record breaking PNP draw IRCC or Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada held a new Express Entry draw on January 19, inviting 1,036 immigration candidates to apply for permanent residence. The Federal Government invited Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. And this was the reason for the high Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut off of 745 because PNP selection automatically obtains you 600 points. So far, just in 2022, IRCC has invited 1,428 PNP candidates in total under Express Entry. We are also seeing people with very less CRS scores not considering the PNP portion being picked in the Federal Express Entry just because of the PNP selection.
